美國在台協會AIT處長酈英傑13日下午拜會新竹市政府，雙方就竹市經濟產業、資訊安全、竹科X計畫等議題交流，市長林智堅特別向酈英傑力薦竹市絕對是美商良好的投資地點，得到酈正面回應。
優良產業環境 投資首選
在競選期間打出未來4年將全力拚經濟政見的林智堅，藉酈英傑來訪的機會，向他力薦新竹市良好的投資環境，他特別請酈英傑代為向美商企業轉達「美商投資時務必考慮新竹市優質產業環境」的請求，盼借AIT之力，邀請更多美商投資竹市。
林智堅說，新竹市是半導體產業重鎮、全台最重要科技城，消費力更不在話下，過去4年他想方設法創造良好投資環境，力邀在地企業、外商投資，更與中油、台肥合作，將36公頃土地規畫成竹科X，吸引企業進駐。
酈回應 將會有更多合作
酈英傑給予正面回應，指未來與新竹市在科技上有更多合作是「自然的」，他同時深入了解新竹市未來4年的發展規畫，並針對資訊安全、經濟發展、施政方向等也提出討論，包括台灣智慧財產權、企業、政府資訊等面臨被剽竊的問題，希望地方政府與中央共同加強捍衛資訊安全。
林智堅表示，為了讓外商繼續投資，政府已持續提供城市低汙染、穩定、高收入的就業環境，另外，台灣高科技產業已投入不少成本處理資訊安全的問題，近來行政院也在採購設備上強調資安問題，市政府更持續提高警覺，並投入更多資源、人力，提高台灣捍衛資安的知識與技能。
北車摩天樓齊發 京王登場

全球第25大車站、六鐵共構的台北車站，在機捷通車之後，正式晉升為世界水準的「國門車站」，台北也成了亞洲第四座市區預辦登機城市。機捷的A1站目前只蓋到地上兩層，西區門戶計劃接下來的重頭戲，就是把C1、D1上方的台北雙子星蓋好蓋滿，未來3-5年台北市的都市動能將明顯集中在台北車站特區，比現在至少多出10幾棟全新的摩天高樓。
當中備受矚目的，就是該區唯一僅有的非地上權、超高層住宅案-「京王」。緊鄰京站百貨及台北車站，距離雙子星國門短短200多公尺，「京王」特有的基地優勢無可替代。傳真機構調查，未來五年內，台北車站特區至少新增13棟躋身百米俱樂部的新摩天大樓，移植東京車站丸之內和倫敦國王十字車站經驗，以商業導向的摩天高樓啟動新一輪都市再生，包括：施工中的「基泰忠孝大樓」，2019年上半年將啟用，部分樓層規劃作旅館使用；皇翔建設「台汽北站」將引進萬豪集團旗下品牌萬麗酒店，預估2020年完成；「台北市舊市議會地上權」開發案的辦公、商場和日本三井不動產三井花園飯店；「C1D1台北雙子星」2棟、「中華郵政雙塔」2棟、「台鐵E1E2大樓」3棟、北門廣場新飯店「CitizanM」，以及北車特區摩天建築群裡唯一的住宅預售案「京王」。
「京王」基地面積約610坪四面臨路，建築高度達113.8公尺，地上蓋32層地下開挖6層，總銷40億元，總計127戶，共62戶中高樓層可對外出售，市場預估單價行情可破百萬元，本周正式公開。
