我需要補充骨粉嗎？從“高氏上下顎牙床骨分類法”談起

 

擔任人工植牙醫師，常有一些病人的牙床骨因為牙周病，外傷，骨質疏鬆與先天缺牙導致牙床骨不足，若是這類的病人沒有在植牙前先診斷出來，往往喪失補充骨粉的機會，我在2010發表一篇“高氏上下顎牙床骨分類法”，運用此一分類法，可以評估病人需要補充骨粉的機會，還是可以用其他的方法避免補充骨粉手術。

是的，若是可以避免單獨補骨手術，我會建議避免，然而有些情形是一定要補充骨粉，讓植牙的地基穩固，否則就容易有口內土石流的情形發生。（請參考我的另一篇文章“人工植牙新觀念？”）

 

Alveolar ridge defects resulting from tooth loss,trauma, periodontal disease, or congenital lesions often require correctionprior to dental implant therapy. Numerous classifications proposed to describealveolar ridge defects have been limited to describe intra-arch relationships.To provide sufficient jaw-to-jaw alveolar ridge (interarch) relationshipinformation for both restorative and surgical treatment decision-making, thisarticle introduces a new interarch alveolar ridge relationship classificationsystem. This article also discusses cone beam computed tomography andmultidisciplinary treatment planning options for approaching eachclassification.
