When I lived in Saskatchewan, I saw many RV's and trailers on various highways in the summer time. I always thought to myself, "when I retire, I'm gonna get myself one and travel all over North America."
Well, I haven't retired yet but I have not one but two trailers now. It's definitely not what I had in mind but it happened. I guess when you can't afford two rentals and a mortgage, you find an alternative way.
That's right. Husband and I live in separate trailers due to jobs. It feels a little like permanent camping or vacationing. I was unsure about it at first. After all, I like large space even if I don't use all the space.
I don't know if we will ever uproot from Saskatchewan and permanently settle in BC. I kind of like the country living in Saskatchewan where you see open sky and landscape, and where country music and cowboys are reality. Yes, I have a thing for country music and cowboys.
For now, I suppose I'll just be content with RV living and secretly hope I get transferred back to my old job.
