三月七日，上午陳儀尚笑咪咪的虛與委蛇、虛情假意。到了下午，便變了臉，恢復了以往「新總督」的「威嚴」；對前面的「承諾」、「保證」，一概否認，因為他得了「援軍將到的健忘症藥方」。
