在過去的幾個星期中，白宮行政糕點主廚比爾Yosses和他的天才團隊創建了一個300磅重的白宮複製品。而天大的好消息：它是可食用的。

我們這些放牛班不能補習的同學，都需要參一些校內外活動，而讓有補習的同學專心於課業，但是我是要升學的啊，只是家裡實在太窮，沒辦法參加補習而已。
第一次中學聯招，我沒有考上公立學校；第二次職業學校聯招，我很幸運的考上臺北市某公立商業學校，當我考上公立學校後，我在國小的導師郭老師，他特別為我申請「獎學金」五十元，當我去他家拿獎學金五十元的時候，正好拿去購買「五堵→松山」的來回學生月票三個月，總共四十五元，還剩餘五元，後來經查當時的「小學生」，那有拿到獎學金的？！可能、、、。
在初商，我遇到了一個辦學非常認真的校長，和幾位好老師，除了導師教學認真之外，他用一套鼓勵的方式，他教國文〈中文〉，他教完一課後，就要學生在三天內去辦公室「背誦給他聽。」我每次都在一兩天內就「背誦」好了，成績都會100分或120分或最高130分，打破當時一般的概念，最高100分的成績。
沒能在三天內背誦好的就要被處罰；從松山火車站到我的學校走路要20→25分鐘，當時沒有公車，我就一邊走路一邊「背書」，在火車上也是一樣，因此很快的就背熟了。
當時我家庭窮困，鄰居剛好也有一位學長，高我一年級的同學在唸同校，我母親就去請他把他唸過的書本給我，在註冊時，我就可省下很多的錢，因此我也很認真的求學，在下課時，除了去廁所之外，我就是在讀書或寫功課，所以在這初中三年是我收穫最豐碩的年代。
因為我一考上之後，就問我母親，要不要讓我讀高中？她說只要我考得上，就會讓我讀高中，因此我利用所有的時間讀書，非得考上高中不可，尤其是第一志願。
初中三年了，今年學校也剛好獲准增設高中部，於是校長要我直接昇到高中部，免試昇學本校，我尚在猶豫不決的時候，我們學校的教學組長突然叫同學傳喚我去辦公室找他，他是全校同學聞名喪膽的很嚴格的組長，每堂課他都會暗暗的巡視每個教室，把不專心聽課、打瞌睡、、、的同學記下來，然後在下課時，傳到辦公室去處罰，同學們人人都怕他，而我卻從來沒有怕過他，因為我沒有被他處罰過；反而有一次他幫助我逃過一次懲罰。
到了辦公室，我向他敬個禮後，靜默的站著，他說：〈待續〉
