1995年的聖誕郵票主題圍繞在聖經故事的彩繪玻璃，都是從紐西蘭南島的基督城一座教堂裡面拍攝的。首日封上印有整片的彩繪玻璃，很漂亮唷，非常有聖誕節的感覺。我沒有去過那座教堂，不過這彩繪玻璃讓我想起在義大利米蘭主座大教堂，教堂裡面黑漆媽烏的，把製作精美的彩繪玻璃顯得更漂亮，我不是基督天主教徒，可是看到色彩鮮豔的彩繪玻璃真得很令人感動！
那兩張一樣的天使郵票是因為這聖誕郵票發行後，紐西蘭郵局剛好把國內郵資從45 cent調降成40 cent，所以又重新發行了40c的天使郵票。記得那年還有好幾張郵票重新發行改成40 cent的郵資，還特地出了一套所有40 cent的郵票首頁紀念封。我好像也有買的樣子，嗯…忘掉了。
●郵票簡介原文
1995 Christmas stamps feature stained-glass windows. Two stamps depict images from St Mary's Anglican Church at Merivale, Christchurch with the theme being the Annunciation. Four of the Christmas stamps show the Nativity or the birth of Jesus from the three-lancet windows in The Lady Chapel of St Luke's Anglican Church, Christchurch.
The stamp issue included a booklet of ten 40c stamps issued on 9 November 1995. In addition a special miniature sheet was produced for inclusion in a special telephone card / stamp pack, that was issued in December 1995.
Due to a postage rate decrease on 2 October 1995 the 45c stamp was reissued as a 40c stamp.
‧40c：
One of the stained-glass windows in St Mary's Anglican Church at Merivale, Christchurch. The window was designed in 1910 in the studio of the English craftsman and social reformer, William Morris and its theme is the Archangel Gabriel's announcement to Mary that she was to give birth to Jesus. This stamp was issued on 2 October 1995 to replace the previously issued 45c stamp due to a postage rate decrease.
‧40c Booklet Stamp：
The angel featured on this stamp appears on the central panel of a three panel window on the west wall of the Church of St John the Evangelist, Cheviot, North Canterbury. The booklet consisted of ten 40c stamps, all with the same design, and was issued on 9 November 1995.
