061010 , Birthday, are you happy ?

Today is your birthday.
The news are not so happy that I turn my head and turn off the TV.

It is said that the politics is everybody’s business. It is proved now, but I don’t like it.

I don’t support any side. I just worry about how long and how much this war will take. So far, we already pay a lot for the fighting.

Do who standing there to fight care about the land? Can you tell me if the world could be better when your wish come true? You and I all know it will not better. The history just repeat and repeat again. The difference is only who own the power to control all the resources and you like the one or not.

I sit there, and think about : will the news be broadcast to BZ ? if Guerra ask me about the news, what do I want to tell him? How can I explain ? If the general do on the stage, what will he think about Taiwan? Thanks god. All the anwsers are No.

It’s Thanksgiving there and it is birthday of my land.

Do I have to the courage to write this?

Hey! I do wish you HAPPY BIRTHDAY!

I love the title. It is indeed sad how trouble our homeland is still. How much do people still have to suffer before we can see the light of hope? Why do people must devide and hate? Why can’t people appreciate and respect the difference among us? Why can’t the politicans search in their hearts and do what truely is best for people?

This is a turbulent time but hope will soon be found. As long as we stay true to our hearts and open our eyes to see through all the smoke blown by the politicians.

Hope will come.

Dear Ball,

When I saw the news, I REALLY felt shamed. I know you can see the news in Vancouver, and I guess Bean could see it in Maryland because I ever saw Taiwan news when I was in Arizona. I have been asked by a lady from China, and I hated to answer the kind of stuff.

I think it is hard to ask politicans to keep being a ”Mr./Mrs. CLEAN”. Because they do have lots of power. Power is just like a cup of sweet and strong wine: When you drink, you will love it and be drunk. ”Vanity, definitely my favorite sin.” (From movie, <Devil’s Advocate>)

My opinion is : they can take some things. That’s okay. But they MUST do some good things too. I hate that they just do dirty things , just fight for nonsense , and waste the public resources that I taxed.

(咦?~ 罵人的時候，英文真的會變溜! XD)

幾年來激起政治狂熱
每年不斷選舉
政客挑起族群對立
這片土地就變成這樣了
沒有人去看”是””非” 只問政治立場

但我還是覺得是有希望的:)

我們政黨輪替也才6年
民主也是需要學習的
其他國家也是這樣一步一腳印的走過來的
我們要相信我們的選擇
並希望下一個選擇會更好
而且不會把台灣出賣給大陸

其實 還好 ~我在這從沒看到任何相關新聞
當然除了yahoo.com.tw以外

上個月在紐約遇到一個隻身來流浪的可愛的台灣女生
談起這些事 她微著笑對著我說
”在台灣上的人民都很能為自己找到一個出口
繼續的在這塊土地上打拼 找尋未來
這只是一個過程 過了這段 生活還是生活”

我不知道為什麼從這麼紛亂的台北逃出來的她可以有這麼樂觀的想法
也許是因為她知道也遇過更多更多疼愛這塊土地的人
聽著她跑去參加媽祖巡台的活動
眼睛睜大的告訴我她聽了多少個農夫訴說台灣廟宇的故事
感動著整個巡禮中帶來的震撼
她不是信徒 卻從這個活動中 感受到台灣人的愛
聽著聽著 我也笑了
是阿! 台灣還是有很多熱愛這個土地的人呢 ^^

我問Sean ”Why is Taiwan? Why do you decide to study there?”
Sean: ”因為我愛台灣!”

好吧 我們也算很努力的在推廣台灣摟 ya^^

說真的，我一向對政治不感興趣，我對社會事件還關心得多一點．近幾年，顏色區分得太厲害，彷若事情只有二個顏色，我跟你不同國，我們就要對立，可是明明就不是這樣啊！

到目前為止，警察動員的人次己經超過20萬人次，如果一個便當100元(如果把水也算進去的話)，一個人次二餐，就已經花了四千萬了．這都還不含他們的加班費，或者交通費．

之前有個警察過勞死，雖然他本來就有疾病，太操勞也是真的．

施明德開刀後這樣操勞，我其實不願意看到烈士，但他女兒說的也沒錯：激情之後呢？

民主，要付出多少代價？
希望這些過程不會白走一遭．

這塊土地的確有一堆人在為台灣努力，我們也都算是；同時間，在 BZ 一群人正在籌備國慶酒會，要呈現台灣到底為那塊土地作了什麼；又或者有另外一群人正在挑戰世界最險峻的六座(?)大山（結束了？）；我站在誠品裡看著＜無米樂＞的VCD；又或者有人在為著河川和土壤汙染努力著，心裡也真的就一股熱血啊．

政客，非常有空間能再多作一點什麼的．
