藍鳥13日與金鶯進行「雙鳥大戰」，靠著重砲恩卡納西昂(Edwin Encarnacion)單場雙響，灌進3分打點，先發投手柏利(Mark Buehrle)也繳出6局失2分的優質內容，最終就以10比2大勝，重回5成勝率。

恩卡納西昂上一季繳出34轟98分打點，在隊上僅次於全壘打王巴蒂斯塔(Jose Bautista)，但今年開季至今打擊狀況低迷，4月份打擊率甚至不到2成，目前也僅2成44，所幸長程火力並未衰退，此役4打數2支安打都是全壘打，演出本季第2次單場雙響，個人累積7轟。

「單場雙響砲讓我感覺非常好，」恩卡納西昂賽後說，「因為我前一陣子的表現並不好，現在我知道我已經開始進入狀況，當我手感越來越好，就表示我們要開始贏球了。」

前5局打完，藍鳥還以1分落後，六局上，恩卡納西昂面對金鶯先發提爾曼(Chris Tillman)，第2球就揮出右外野方向陽春砲，將比數追平，七局上再敲出1發2分砲，助球隊單局灌進4分拉開差距，八局上唐納森(Josh Donaldson)再補上1支2分砲，最終就以8分差距轟垮金鶯。

藍鳥先發柏利6局被敲4安打，失2分，送出4次三振1次保送，收下勝投，目前戰績5勝2敗，領先藍鳥投手群。

藍鳥贏球後勝率重回5成，17勝17敗雖只排在美聯東區第三，但引以為傲的長程砲火仍讓各隊難以小覷，全隊共有5人全壘打數在5支以上，團隊40轟與紅人在全聯盟並列第5。

金鶯本場投打戰力都陷入低潮，提爾曼先發6.2局被敲9支安打，丟5分皆是自責分，苦吞第5敗，打擊方面全場僅敲出4支安打跑回2分。
