男子一餐吃兩顆粽子 血糖飆到300mg/dl
端午節，總少不了應景吃粽子，台中一名62歲糖尿病患者，平時血糖維持正常，端午節到來，一餐吃下兩個粽子，血糖飆高一倍。醫師提醒，血糖暴增，會造成心臟腎臟負擔，建議糖尿病患者，粽子糯米減量，同時搭配蔬菜湯，增加纖維質攝取，防止腸胃不適。(寇世菁報導)
豐原醫院營養科代理主任鄭秀英表示，坊間粽子，一顆熱量約400到600大卡，等同一碗七分滿的白飯、加上重約一兩的肉、與兩份油脂，糖尿病患者如果一餐吃兩顆粽子，相對血糖也會上升，造成心臟、腎臟等器官負擔。像這名62歲曾姓男子，患有糖尿病，平時血糖維持在150 mg/dl左右，端午節到來，一餐吃下兩個粽子，血糖立即飆高到300 mg/dl。建議糖尿病患，自己包粽子時，糯米量減半，另一半加入五穀米，增加纖維質攝取，不但保有糯米黏性、也減少糯米對腸胃造成的不適感；再者也可以降低粽子熱量，如果一顆約400大卡，可在餡料上調配，把五花肉改成後腿瘦肉、放10顆花生改成放5顆或是以蓮子栗子取代，餡料以醃的方式，盡量少爆香，熱量約能減少100大卡。
豐原醫院營養科代理主任鄭秀英提醒：患有糖尿病的民眾，不建議一餐粽子超過2顆，一顆為主，才能避免血糖突然飆高，另外再搭配當季蔬菜湯，增加纖維質攝取，防止腸胃因吃糯米粽子，導致不舒服。
