宋達民則感念「勇伯」是位樂善好施、提攜後輩的長輩，回憶過往曾在拍戲現場有人發生口角，當時陳松勇兩三句話以「溫和方式」就處理掉，令他印象深刻，如今使人敬服的先輩離世，宋達民以虔敬基督徒祝願陳松勇「一路好走」。

齊秦受疫情影響，無法親到追思會送「松勇大哥」最後一程，拍影片悼念，宋逸民提到：「陳松勇大哥是一個值得恭敬的尊長，曩昔不管是我仍是達民，跟他都有一段歡愉的拍戲時候，他很特殊，會指點我們拍戲，把他的經驗跟我們分享，他說，腳本不消背這麼熟，只要認識其中意思，就可以把角色詮釋很好，片場他總是詼諧有趣地帶著我們拍戲，很喜歡跟他合作，聽到消息不捨，相信有一天會在天上再見。」
