i haven't been able to use internet since i got back to nott. so my email box was absolutely busted. not that i am popular or anything.. there are too many junk mails from god knows who..
but anyway, it ain't too bad. i mean, here in nott. i have learnt to inhibite the flow of my feelings, so that they don't just go anywhere. plus, haveing frineds here really does a lot of help.
i arrived arounf 4.30 in monday afternoon. peggie came to pick me up at the train station. headed straight to the house i'll be staying for the next 10 months. it's small, but nice. cosy alomst. my room is on the first floor, next to the toilet, with a window facing the front yard and the main street. a tiny room it is, but since i have almost all my stuff sent back to taiwan, it still seems very spacious. later that evening, i made anna walking to the big sainsbury with me and did some shopping there. i bought the usual things like olive oil, milk, water, cheese, eggs, bread, packed pasta.. and.. homours..this i miss the most. then we took a cab home. that was that for the day.
the following day, tuesday, i went to the banks and fresher's fair. signed up for the membership and stuff. went to town in the afternoon to buy bedding stuff for i had to sleep in a sleeping bag the night b4.. it was very uncomfortable. in the evening, i rested for a bit, and after shower i made my bed. thought i was going to sleep but then i couldn't at all.. alhtough the bed is really far too soft but i didn't think it was why. i don't know why i couldn't sleep but i just kept tossing around in bed until late.
this morning, i found it really hard to get up, i woke up at 8.30 but very quickly i fell asleep again until 11. after i got myself out of bed i realised i have a very bad shoulder pain.. thanks to the softy bed.. maybe i should remove the mat. and just sleep on the bed itself, don't know, i'll give it a few days more.
for branch, i had bread with olive oil and cheese with a cup of earl gray tea. then i finally made up my mind to go to the department for the first time. it all feels strange walking into the compus and the department. saw my tutor and everything. there's a tutorial meeting this afternoon at 4 and i could have missed it if i didn't come in today!! thanks god i made it here. so.. here i am, awaiting for the meeting.. or maybe if i have some time left.. then i might go to the fresher's fair again.
so, there we go, that's that for me since i got back here.
