今天晚上看了傑出華人系列之一.
這系列是我最喜歡的港台節目之一, 今天的主角是聞名古今中外的國學大師饒教授.
以前讀書時曾經從Dr Li口中聽過他的事,
因為Dr Li是他的學生, 也去過日本京都大學留學.
從饒教授身上, 能夠看出作為一個醉心於學問研究的人, 那種外人不能明白的孤獨感. 但他珍惜, 享受這種孤獨. 他也說出自己的人生觀... 人生有很多偶然, 有些人天生就是有一種不甘於被命運擺佈, 努力掙脫這框框, 活出自己.
也許我還未到這年紀, 未能參透, 但也許未來有天我會明白.
學者的生活, 外人看在眼裡是枯燥無味的,
但他們自己卻是自得其樂,
不會斤斤計較於人際關係中的芝麻小事,
不會去計算別人, 只會把整副精神放在自己眼前的工作上,
現代人那種急躁妄動, 那種只看眼中的小刺,
卻忽略了眼前的一片樹林...
從他們身上, 彷彿看見人類永恆的生命 - 仁

以下這首...
這是唸中學時反覆唱過多次的,
由Stephen Foster所寫的一首美國民歌,
記得當時無線還有一套日本卡通, 以這個著名的美國作曲家
作為題材, 記述了他童年好友: 黑人朋友阿祖(即後來的歌-Old Black Joe)
青梅竹馬珍妮(即Jeanie With the Light Brown Hair裡面的Jeanie)的童年故事.
