Could I compare you with a diamond,
when it's captured light and sparkles
showing it's one of a kind,
Could I compare you to the brightest star in heaven
shining so bright it's easy to find,
as I wish on that star that you'll always be mine.
Could I compare you to a sunrise,
in the beginning with the promise of tomorrow,
when I look into your eyes,
can I compare you to the sunset,
even more beautiful in the time we borrow.
Can I compare you in it's blinding light,
as your lips touch mine;
could I compare you,
for when we part,
you take my heart.
In this lifetime, if I could
run my fingers thru your hair,
fine and curly,
what else could compare with heaven?
