Sometimes I think that I can see us holding hands,
climbing mountain on beaches exploring foreign lands,
Or even you giving me one passionate kiss,
and loving each other without sexual demands.
And maybe one day you'll feel me with bliss,
letting me know that I’m as sweet as that and this,
or breathing softly against my ear,
and letting me know how much that I’m missed.
Then maybe it'll come to the day when I hear,
all your dreams and even your fear,
because no more will our feelings stall,
but is really true and far or false and near.
Maybe in my dreams I’ll hear your beckoning call,
and wake up to the sound of your laugh from a memorable phone call,
but I don't know what the future holds,
or if it holds anything with us together at all.
