Stars fell tonight,
everytime I see you smile,
your eyes danced with me
while the whole galaxy in my plam.
Stars fell tonight,
though I only needed one to wish upon,
because there is only one heart
that I dream of being near.
Where they all fell, I haven't a clue,
but I chose the brightest,
and my lips spoke, and desire flew
to join a fiery descent.
Stars fell tonight,
and in the morning I wonder,
if really they weren't wishes
that never made it high enough,
fallen back to the Earth,
to the lovers that sent them.
My only hope is
my wishes will never come true.
