It's raining so heavily this morning that I did not go for my usual walk/buying newspaper routine. The World Journal newspaper was all sold out at the first newsstand that I went to; had to go to another bookstore to get the very last copy. People were hungry for the information about outbreak of SARS in Asia? The War at Iraq, or like me mourning over the death of Leslie Cheung?
Sure not much happy news lately.
Just happened that I only recently finished a book "Jester", set background during the Crusade period in Europe, and something in that book echoed in my mind for days "God wills this? God wills these murders?”
I can’t stop wondering what’s happening around us now, is this God's will or peoples' will? What are we trying to free and be freed from? What is the real treasure in one’s life?
