上政論節目替政策辯護 洪辦推「青秀柱講團」
2016總統大選，施明德今天播放家庭環台微電影，對於民進黨主席蔡英文預估立委選舉，民進黨席次會過半，感到不以為然，至於國民黨總統參選人洪秀柱辦公室，公布上政論節目的青年代表，但洪秀柱退選消息還是不斷爆出，名嘴胡忠信說國民黨高層包括馬英九吳敦義王金平朱立倫，都希望洪秀柱退選，對此，洪秀柱辦公室對胡忠信提告。
一字排開年輕人，青秀柱講團成立，這群六七年級生將輪流上政論節目替洪秀柱征戰call-in戰場。洪秀柱文宣部召集人毛嘉慶：「我們必須要站出來，因為好人不出聲，壞人就會出頭，現在所有社會價值都已經被扭曲了。」
展現選戰積極氣勢，洪辦出手動作頻頻，但外界質疑卻不斷，民進黨立委莊瑞雄爆料，立法院長王金平對他說，洪秀柱要不要選到底都不知道，還有媒體人胡忠信也公開說，洪秀柱曾和國民黨高層有「不選的」交換條件說。媒體人胡忠信：「黨中央幾乎重要的決策者都希望洪秀柱下來，我想我就指名嘛，馬英九、吳敦義、王金平、朱立倫，我們五大天王這四個，哪一個不希望她下來，好現在請問有哪一個敢站出來背書。」
胡忠信加碼再爆，洪辦同時間提告，而總統參選人施明德則把砲口對向蔡英文。總統參選人施明德：「你問我蔡主席，她如果沒有稿子，她根本不知道她在講什麼，這是長期以來我們都知道的，不客氣的講，她只有一張漂亮的文憑，以後都不念書嘛，也沒有著作嘛，不要把總統選舉搞得像鄉鎮市長選舉，每天都在那佔版面裝可愛、裝親民。」2016總統選戰候選人，檯面上呈現大混戰趨勢。
