Individual Relationships

These ten rules of human relationships are not unique to me, and I do not know the source. In the same time, they do not go out of fashion or out of time if you're running a business. Their efforts must be imbued by everyone in your business with your rules. They're required in most type of relationship be it marketing or attempting to sell to consumers, supplying customer support before or after the purchase, operating with and negotiating with companies or your support team and obviously central to your business.

Because the leader of your team, undergo these commandments and consider how you and everyone on your team abides by them. Pushing their use might just smooth some ruffled feathers or diffuse a tense situation.

1. SPEAK TO PEOPLE

There is nothing such as a pleasant word of greeting. To really join, look them in the eye when you speak.

2. SMILE AT PEOPLE

It requires 72 muscles to frown, only 1-4 to look. They can hear the difference in your voice - even over the phone.

3. CALL PEOPLE BY NAME
