This week we talk about machanism of global economy. At the looming of war in Iraq, there is more uncertainty then ever for our global economy.
From 1980s, the global atmosphere are declined to free market and globalization. After about 20 years, the world are interneted more intimately than ever before. Therefore, any issues now in anyone place on this planet has more leverage than it did to shake this highly correlated global economy, through international investment, through currency exchange, and through trade.
Because of this closely inter-dependency, there are more difficuty in tackling with economy. Anti-war demostration all over the world reveals such concerns.
Today, globalization may benefit many poor countries, but its deficiency to re-distribute wealth through the whole society is harshly criticized, especially by anti-globalists. Whether successful reform would be carried out is the key point to our destination in the next century.
