I think I'll be needing help from blood bank soon.
Was running late for work, grabbing some snacks and running to my lovely car. Just pull out of the parking box I got a feeling, it's like back in your childhood when you were riding a bike with flat tire on the bumpy lumpy road.... Yes I got a flat tire, that's the beginning of my day.
I had to pull over by my unit and ran upstairs to call towing company to tow my car to the nearest tire shop, to fix this mess. Ten minutes later I got back to my car and, damn, there was something tucked under the windshield, my strong "gut feeling" told me that, "YOU ARE SCREWED". Yes it was a parking ticket, maybe you don't know that the circle area where i parked is RED ZONE. But this time the citation is $25 rather than what i paid last time, $100.
Ok, that's not too bad. I had maintenance guy fill the air, and I was driving extremely slow like i've never done so (I believe i have the potential to be trained as F1 car racer), I reached the nearest tire shop. 1.5 hours passed by, two one hundred dollars bill left my pocket, not to mention the change.
The most thing i've lost, and missed, is the job fair at the convention center, which is believed to hold once a year. This can't be evaluated by ecnomic terms. I might have lost lots of offers:(
tickets + two tires=$25+$240
my life ahead of me is going to be tough. I think I need to pinch the penny from now on, live with bread and milk.
I can feel my blood is drained out from my vessel.....where's the nearest blood bank???!!!
