Back to the classic Miss A’s selfish-and-unappreciated manner in this friendship that was initiated by me 2.5 yrs ago and lasted much too longer than it was supposed to.
I can’t remember how many times I’ve helped her out at work by passing generous orders to her and not even getting a single drink from her as an appreciation, not to mention the commission $ I sacrificed while entering her pocket. I always asked her to go lunch together when we still worked 2gether, and for as long as she had a bf, she hardly even talked to me and treated me like a stranger at lunch time. She would go to lunch with the coworkers and NVR asked me to go, if not invited by other pple. Everytime we went travel, I was always the one to do everything including getting flight tix, booking hotels, arranging airport pick-up and drop-offs. I introduced her to all my friends and got them all to like her. Often enuf was to look after her fucked-up drunk ass at the clubs making sure she was not dipping in her own puke and getting home safely. It’s not to be mentioned how many times I had to make a big detour to get to her place to pick her up and drive up to the city to party, or how I made my man to pick her up at her boy’s place and drive her back to his to save her cab money. I was always there to back her up and cover her when she told endless lies to her bf or me when she went to Vegas with her lesbo gf, when she got endless lavish presents from her...etc, and made me the last one to find out the truth about her endless lies. When her H1B transfer hit the rock bottom, I made at least 10+ calls to people and my immigration attorneys to figure something out for her. When I asked her to upload her bday pix to my album, she refused to becuz it would take her a blink-of-an-eye time to do so. Lastly, I can’t stand her stupidity in talking and I have been putting up with her dumb conversation content for as far as I know, until someone else had to point that out to her to shut her up.
All I got was simply " I didn’t ask you to do this for me." and "You did not have to if you didn’t want to." This reminded me of what her rich lesbo friend told me one day when she finally decided to cut her out and stop supplying Miss A’s insatiable needs for $ and material, "Alice, I want to leave her for good this time. You and I both know she doesn’t have many friends, and you are prolly the only true gf she has, and I know how you been putting up with her. Please watch her back for her." Yes, after watching her back for over 2 years, all I got was her f’ing inconsiderate selfishness in return.
Even the random stranger would do this 60-sec detour to get off 101 and get back on just becuz it’s nothing, but she rather put me thru all the hassle to take train or whatever as long as she doesn’t have to do anything. 3 hours l8tr, I came to the same conclusion as Jen and Ma had told me, I decided not to go to dinner, yes, fuck that!
Yes, Jen and Ma tried all afternoon to tell me to open my eyes and cut out selfish bitch like Miss A who is apparently cheap enuf and never offers to do anything for friends, not to mention she didn’t even think I was worth 60 seconds of her time.
That’s just a deal breaker. I’m over!
Lesson learned finally, in 3 years. Life is too short to waste time on those who don’t care for you. Keep the good ones that are always there to back you up and be grateful to them.
