Dude, it was 11pm and I was decked out for bed after watching 2-hr Bourne Supremacy, my cell was buzzing off the hook. I glanced over the caller ID, it was Phil. He's not the type to call on a weekday nite to say hi, so I answered to see what's up. He was at this SportsMart in Sunnyvale where I just visited earlier in the evening but just a brief look. He told me there was a one-day ONLY sale till midnite for snowboard 3 pcs pkg and for someone that anal and cheap like him, he actually thought that was an awesome package. So I jumped outta the bed and raced over to the shop to crash the deal. Suggested by an advanced snowboarder and critical shopper, I ended up getting whatever Phil suggested I do, though I thought the design of the board he picked out was kinda lame, oh well...gotta get practical and get over the vain. Whatever. But it's a really decent board, 153 cm, wood core, triple layers or whatsoever, blah blah, I got a pair of Burton boots and binding is Burton made as well. My damage at 12 o'clock midnite was $330 US dollars. On my way home, I started to wonder if I just had a major blackout back at the store. I got home, parked, and hit the sack. I passed out, too much damage.
