有一天在衡山路上, 看到這樣一個標語:
I saw a sign in Hengshan Rd the other day, it says:
"發揚城市文明, 爭作可愛上海人"
To promote city culture, be a lovely Shanghainese"
其實, 一直很想告訴上海的同胞們, 如果做到下面幾件事, 那你們就真的太可愛了...
As a matter of fact, I wanna tell my fellow Shanghai people, you would be really lovely only if you could kindly do the following improvement.
(1) 請排隊好嗎 Would you please get in line?
不管在家樂福, 地鐵, 機場, 請你們排隊吧. 我曉得以前大家都不排隊, 不過在這個與國際接軌的大城市, 就請你們在排隊這件事上也與國際接軌吧.....
No matter in Carrefour, subway stations, or the airports. Please get in line. I don't care what you are used to before. But when people are talking about being international in Shanghai, at least try to get in line like being in a international city, ok?
(2) 請不要闖紅燈 Please follow the traffic lights
每次看到不管是行人或騎自行車的人闖紅燈, 真的都為你們捏了把冷汗. (還常看到一些被撞倒在地的人....) 一直想問, 你們真的這麼急嗎??? 等個1分鐘的紅燈, 應該比冒生命危險好吧?
Are you really in such a rush? Risking your life is worth than waiting for one minute?
(3) 請不要吵架 Don't argue
其實我也知道上海人精明, 可是你們可不可以不要動不動就大聲吵架呀? 想告訴你們, 真正輕聲講重話的人, 才是最厲害的呀.....
I know you guys are smart. But sometimes please shut up, ok? You guys are so annoying when arguing with each other.
(4) 請不要再坑我了 No more rip-off
每次買東西被坑被宰, 我也知道呀. 但總是抱著照顧廣大祖國同胞的心態就算了...只是, 你們能不能不要坑的太誇張啊.....(一塊錢的西瓜賣三塊....)
Do you think I am an idiot? I just didn't care a buck or two...but not too much, please....
真的, 這些事你們注意一下, 就真的能成為"可愛上海人"了.
I really hope to see many lovely Shanghainese in the street sooon.
