Structuring Your Essay to Perfection Guide-2022

After much effort planning and researching your essay, you should be primed to write a neat essay. However, all the planning comes to nothing if you don’t properly structure your essay. The rigorous task of planning an essay is to be followed by the structuring of the essay.

The structure of the introduction, the body paragraphs, and the conclusion is common through the various essays. It is the inner structure of the body paragraphs and their contents that distinguish one essay type from another.

An essay writer should be well versed in every kind of essay structure and should be able to judge the essay type through the essay prompt.

The Three-Step Rule

Most of the academic essays follow a three-step rule when it comes to the essay structure.

  • Step 1: Inform the reader what you are going to say: This is usually in the form of the thesis statement and the thesis plan

  • Step 2: Say what you were to say. Follow on the outline or the plan that was mentioned in the introduction

  • Step 3: Tell the reader what you have said: Reiterate to the reader the points that you raised in the body of the paragraph.

The length of the essay will determine the number of paragraphs in the essay. For example, the thesis plan will be indifferent in all paragraphs if the essay is long in length. In the case of a shorter essay, the thesis statement will be immediately followed by the plan in the immediate sentence.

No matter how many paragraphs the essay has, each body paragraph will have one main idea or will tackle one main argument.

Structure of the essay

Introduction

The introduction will give the background to the main topic of your essay. It will provide the context for the readers and will explain what is your main argument here are some guideline in write my essay free. How you plan to execute the reasoning to convince the reader will also be presented to the reader.

Body Paragraphs

The body paragraphs will develop the argument point by point, while also providing relevant evidence to support the argument.

  • You should group ideas and arguments together rather than repeating points that are alike also take online help from an essay writing service.
  • Each paragraph has subsequent parts, such as the topic sentence followed by evidence, counter-arguments, analysis, and conclusion.
  • The topic sentence will introduce the idea that the paragraph discusses.
  • The concluding statement or the warrant will show how the idea and analysis link to the main thesis.
  • There will be a good use of transition words that serve as a lubricant between different parts in each of the paragraphs and between the paragraphs. The transition can be the logical flow in the style.
  • You should follow a single logical rule in the essay either deductive or inductive.
  • The counterarguments should not be ignored because mentioning it might weaken your argument. Instead, you should work for a better thesis and argument using the weakness unfolded by the counter.

Conclusion

The conclusion will not add any new information. It will just reiterate the main points raised in the body paragraph, in light of the thesis in the first paragraph. The time the reader gets to this part of the essay, he or she should feel the transition naturally and not forced.

Once you are done with the conclusion, you are done with the initial draft and not the essay.  The good news is that you are done with the main part. You will only make the subsequent drafts more power-packed and logically sound by correcting the various structural mistakes— among many other types of mistakes— in your essay.
