We went to see the ‘The Phantom Of The Opera’ it's a musical play like ‘The Lion King’. It is a love story of a girl called Christine who fell in love with a Russian nobleman called Raoul. Christine had a mysterious music teacher whom she called, ‘the angle of music’ but he was really the phantom of the opera that everybody in the theatre called the opera ghost. Anyway, back to what I was saying, the phantom loved Christine too so in the last part of the play he gave Christine a choice, either stay with him forever or he will kill Raoul.
Christine decided that she would stay with phantom forever, but Raoul loved her so he went into the underground labyrinth where the phantom lived and tried to rescue Christine. At that time the phantom nearly killed him, but at the last moment phantom decided to let Christine and Raoul go even when he could kill Raoul and marry Christine. After Christine and Raoul left, the phantom disappeared and the only thing people found was his mask, which covered his ugly face.
In the play my favourite actress was Christine although she didn't love phantom she still promised to stay with him forever so that Raoul wouldn't get killed. My favourite actor was Raoul because he was handsome and good at singing and he was also brave because when phantom took Christine down under the ground to his labyrinth he followed them down and tried to save her, even he nearly got killed himself by phantom. I also liked phantom although he killed so many people, I liked him because he let Christine and Raoul go although he loved Christine very much and wanted to kill Raoul.
I think this play is pretty sad, but it's got a happy ending and I like happy endings. I think this love story is the most haunting of all love stories. The story of the phantom of the opera is the most haunting of all love stories. The story of the phantom of the opera! The most haunting love story ever!
爸爸的註解：
1.終於帶Jenny和Mick去看歌劇魅影了，不過可能是「獅子王」的效果太好了，Mick對魅影的反應，好像沒有那麼熱烈，但隔壁的一個英國太太，問他有沒有在睡覺時，他很大聲的說「沒有」，又說很好看，真是搞不懂小孩子的心。
2.Jenny呢？好像對愛情故事開始有感覺了，不過最後一段重覆廣告詞，真是太偷懶了。
3.聽說「Chitty Chitty Bang Bang」老少咸宜，雖然已經演了一整年，但至今一票難求，都要提早很久預約，尤其是週六，所以即使列入下一場音樂劇計畫，但不久何時才能成行。
