Boring, boring, boring! Today is boring! I couldn't have such a boring day without some fun and I bet you couldn't. Well first (I forget exactly what they said) they(Mum and Dad) said something and I was soooo mad that I locked myself in my room. Of course I needed something to calm me down. So I played with my dolls. The something a bit un-boring cheered me up a teeny-weeny bit.
In the library there was a BOOK SALE and my dad bought me a book called, ‘Country Pancake’. When I was searching the shelves to find a good book to read, I found a book called ‘Something and the little wooden horse's adventure’. I chose it for two reasons:
·I like horses, alive or dead. I like horses because they are beautiful animals. I like it best of all when they run with their manes flying.
·The book doesn't sound too bad. It has adventure in it, or just the word ‘adventure’.
Well I don't think that's many reasons, but they are both true, every word if it I swear. I don't know what is going to cheer me up on this boring, boring day!

這篇日記是一個星期六寫的，每個星期六我們都會帶Jenny和Mick到公立圖書館去借書和錄音帶，圖書館定期淘汰一些出借率較低或較舊的書籍出售，一本大概都只有40Pence，依目前的匯率，大概是台幣22元，約原書價十分之一至三十分之一的價錢，當然，不受歡迎的書裡面也會有好書，運氣好的話，就可順便挑回家了。
至於Jenny那天為何生氣，她不說，我也想不起來了。
