這首歌來自多莉艾莫絲的翻唱專輯「Strange Little Girl」中，原唱是誰我已經忘了，只不過這首歌給我的震撼來自於這首歌的歌詞，據說當初此曲作者在寫這首歌時，靈感來自於報紙上的新聞事件，一位上學的小女孩在學校裡槍殺了她的同學，當她被逮捕時，她只告訴警方[她恨星期一]。

我也恨星期一，但我沒那麼激進........多莉還是用她那種神經質似的唱腔唱完這首歌，好似她被那位小女孩附身似的，在歌曲中你已經得到真正的答案。
