這首《Stumblin' In》是由那位經常背著大貝士拼命嘶吼搖擺的搖滾女歌手Suzi Quatro ( 蘇西奎特蘿 ) ，和英國Smokie樂團的主唱Chris Norman ( 克里士諾曼 ) 倆人所對唱的情歌。1979獲告示牌熱門百大的第4名，但也是Quatro唯一進入美國排行榜前40名的一首歌。

Chris Norman在青少年時就開始玩團，在1968正式成為職業樂團，但直到1972年，Smokie樂團才有較為知名的熱門曲《Living Next Door To Alice》，以及1975年的《If You Think You Know How To Love Me》。但Suzi Quatro從她1973年推出的《Can the Can》獲得英國排行榜的冠軍開始，接著一連串的熱門曲，使她躍升成為在歐洲的搖滾紅星。1973至1980年之間，她一個人就抱走了六座「Bravo Otto」音樂獎 ( 此獎項由德國Bravo雜誌主辦，歐洲人均可投票。) 。

所以，倆人在1978年合唱此曲時，我認為Suzi Quatro的名氣要大過Chris Norman，但若純看演唱的表現，我覺得還是Norman較佳。這首歌也讓Norman在樂團之外，初嚐了成功的滋味。

至於《Stumblin' In》的中文歌名，博客來音樂館將之譯為「一腳陷入愛河裡」。我覺得翻成「陷入愛情」，應也已OK了。
