Love can conquer everything?

A good friend who is suffering for the problems in marriage.
She told me that her mother in law wrote to her and told her one thing
In the marriage, there is nothing about "Fair"
She felt that her mother in law did not stand at her side and tried to understand her feelings. Therefore, she felt so lonely, in the same time, without support from others.
Love is not so easy and simple. People gets married because of love. Therefore, how to handle the daily life becomes the issues which much more difficult than just passion and physical attraction.
Maybe, passing the time to believe love can conquer everything. I do not know that is good or bad
