美式聖誕節

Christmas in America is a time of spreading good cheer. People give cards and gifts to each other. Families enjoy special visits and meals together. The smell of peppermint candy and spices fills the air. Christmas carols and jolly laughter warm the hearts of young and old alike. Christmas trees, colorful decorations and brightly-wrapped gifts bring an old song to mind: It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas.

聖誕節在美國是一個散佈喜悅的時間。人們互相寄卡片送禮物；許多家庭愉悅的歡迎客人特別來訪及一起吃飯；薄荷糖和香料的味道瀰漫在空氣中；聖誕詩歌和愉快笑聲同時溫暖了青年人和老年人的心；聖誕樹、色彩繽紛的裝飾以及包裝亮麗的禮物，使我想起了一首老歌：「聖誕氣氛愈來愈濃了。」
