今天接到熱泉朋友的信，說昨晚那裡下大雪了…，喔…天公不作美啊?竟然在我離開之後，才下起了大雪，讓我見不到這樣的壯觀景像，只能用想像的緬懷一下下了^^…。

這位像大姐姐般的朋友，我們現在幾乎是每天在通信，一來一往的很有意思…。她是朋友lee一次帶小朋友參觀學校時，她正好是音樂老師，她就在現場教導學生，lee說她的音聲非常、非常的悠美、悅耳…。

在要離開熱泉的前三天下午，我們去一家新開的中國自助餐廳吃飯，我正在取菜時，她和我擦身而過，我們彼此笑臉打招呼，吃了大約過半後，她就走過來詢問朋友說，他是不是叫:奧爾華云云…朋友說是，她他們就相互提起那次的會唔，lee就把我介紹給她認識，我就說:我和她已經是老朋友了，因為先前我們已經打過招呼了。

在我們快要用餐畢時，她又專程走過來和我們聊，就這樣我和她又再度的談的很開心，lee把我的信箱寫給她，隔天就收到她的信了，我也很勤快的和她互往，這就樣我們成了好朋友…。

附上她今早敲給我的信，HOT SPRINGS熱泉是不太下雪的地方，竟然可以下如此多雪，真是美哪…

Dear Shianpei,

Hope your tour of New ORleans continues to be enjoyable. We woke up this morning to 6 inches of heavy snow....what a beautiful sight to see.   The trees are covered and their branches hanging from the weight of the snow. Birds are looking for food...squirrels looking for the nuts they hid in the fall.   It is very quiet and peaceful.

It is interesting to see the downtown area when there is snow because the hot water from the springs makes steam and with the snow on the ground it makes a beautiful scene to behold.   The springs brought early people here among the Indian tribes and this valley we live in was a place of healing and peace to all tribes.   All the tribes respected this place and Mother Nature's gift of healing free to all people. WE bring water from the springs home to drink every day.

So what are you doing? Did you get to visit with your friend that you had not seen for such a long time?   Did you get snow in New Orleans! That would be a big surprise since the city is so far south.
