During the dinner Fung showed the Apple Expo.
Finally I can see the new low market Mac - Mac mini. I can never believe that its size is almost the same as my external combo drive!! Remember, it's a DESKTOP COMPUTER!!
Apple's CEO is quite funny. When introducing Mac mini, he said BYODKM, which means Bring Your Own Display, Keyboard and Mouse. Mac mini does not come with these things.
Because my laptop is not working properly, I may probably buy a new one when going back to Hong Kong. Actually I prefer a desktop because I can have it on overnight and most importantly, much cheaper.
This Mac mini just costs US$499, with 1.25GHz PowerPC G4, 256MB DDR, 40GB, Combo Drive included. Really enough for me.
Released on Jan 22. I hope I could have it during the break in Hong Kong.
Also, iPod Shuffle!! US$99, 512MB.
From now on, as far as I'm concerned, Apple is no longer a fruit.
