刺死非裔男 挑起族裔戰爭 白人至上者被判無期徒刑
馬州巴爾的摩的一名「白人至上主義者」傑克遜(James Jackson)，2017年3月刺死66歲的非洲裔男子考夫曼(Timothy Caughman)，日前在紐約市曼哈頓刑事法庭認罪，13日被判無期徒刑，不准假釋。
30歲的傑克遜是曾於阿富汗服役的白人退伍軍人，他於2017年3月在紐約時報廣場附近持劍殺害66歲的非洲裔男子考夫曼；傑克遜在行凶前曾跟蹤許多非洲裔男子，最終選擇考夫曼；案發時，考夫曼正在收集回收瓶子，傑克遜用劍從後襲擊致其重傷，考夫曼跌跌撞撞走入警局報案，但最終因失血過多送醫不治。
傑克遜1月23日在紐約市曼哈頓刑事法庭對所有針對他的指控認罪，包括謀殺和仇恨犯罪等六項罪名，他在認罪時稱，自己是專程從巴爾的摩前往紐約行兇，因為紐約是世界媒體的焦點，他殺人目的是為進一步攻擊非洲裔做練習，震懾非洲裔群體，並挑起族裔戰爭。
傑克遜的辯護律師索辛斯基(Frederick Sosinsky)表示，傑克遜並不是一個族裔歧視者，只是從阿富汗服役回來後精神崩潰，「他只是單純的找不到人生方向」，傑克遜也在法庭上道歉，並表示若能從頭再來，絕對不會做出這樣的事；但考夫曼的家人與朋友無法接受，他們對此判決感到失望，「考夫曼永遠回不來了，但傑克遜卻在獄中生活」。
曼哈頓地區檢察官凡斯（Cyrus Vance）在庭上說傑克森是「白人至上主義者」丶「恐怖份子」。

神隱少女露臉說真相？北農總座吳音寧：有致電陳景峻但陳沒接

在因為過度頻繁的休市導致菜價崩跌以後，外界都在關心，主管第一果菜市場與第二果菜市場的北農總經理吳音寧到底去哪了？
而在昨（7日）北市府召開記者會，身兼北農董事長的台北市副市長陳景峻公開呼籲「總經理應勇於負責」後，吳音寧也終於在7日晚間現身果菜市場，短暫接受媒體訪問，今（8日）早才正式召開記者會說明開市後果菜市場菜價與總進貨量等等近況更新。
再度開市，菜價較休市前微漲「休市3天絕對不是造成蔬果物價波動的唯一原因，過年前寒流來襲導致蔬果到貨量比往年少了16%，過年後天氣回暖生長速度變快，也創下了北農40年來非除夕期間的最高進貨量。」吳音寧說明，今天全國蔬果產地送入北農的進貨量為2370公噸，第一、第二果菜市場稍早都售罄，最終在9點45分許銷售完畢，平均菜價約19.9元，比休市3天前微漲7.9％。
吳音寧解釋，今年的蔬果進貨量達到10年來最高，但菜價卻能達到10年第三高的水準。吳音寧表示，今日能順利銷售完畢，必須感謝北農工作人員、農委會農糧署、以及北市府市場處三方的配合，也再三感謝所有到市場採買的承銷人。
不過，除了今日的菜價水準外，辛苦耕種的農人和市井小民最關心的還是日後再遇到連續休市的情形，菜價是否也會再度崩盤？對此，北市市場處處長許玄謀表示受這幾日氣溫再度下降影響，市長柯文哲也請北農和農委會多加留意產地的生產狀況和做好需求預估，別掉以輕心。
對此，農糧署副署長蘇茂祥回應這幾日天氣變冷預期需求應會提高，而農糧署正積極輔導產地團體準備冷藏設備，目前足夠配合近幾日的調節蔬菜需要。蘇茂祥也疾呼，國內農民所栽植的蔬果品質好、價格也不高，呼籲國民選購蔬菜時能多加選擇國產蔬果。
吳音寧：不委屈，但外界沒看到北農辛勞「這幾天，我一直在想怎麼把事情處理好，沒有想到怎麼跟外界說、怎麼解釋…」對於近幾日北市府指控神隱、媒體也紛紛抱怨找不到人，吳音寧解釋她並沒有躲避，並強調其實外界都沒有看見北農的辛苦，維持菜價沒有那麼容易。
說到激動處，吳音寧一度激昂地以熟悉的台語說著「價格低的時候，農民覺得心血沒有獲得好的報償；菜價高時，消費者又覺得物價要漲了嗎？」對於媒體質問認為自己的危機處理是否及格？吳音寧只說「我碰到事情，只想著處理、面對。」
而對於昨日未出席北市府所召開的記者會，吳音寧澄清由於接到處長許玄謀的電話時貨車已經開始進場，當下判斷應先處理事情，通盤考量後決定不出席。吳音寧表示自己有致電想和董事長陳景峻聯繫，但陳沒有接到，這就是真相。
溝通出問題還是政治鬥爭？事實上，菜價波動時有所聞，但此次爆發到舉國關注的討論程度，或許可以視為是因為農委會、北農、以及北市府在這一週以來不停「隔空叫囂」，外界只能不斷猜測到底誰對誰錯，顯見三方的溝通出了問題。對此，吳音寧解釋北農一直有在和農委會和北市府聯繫報告，並不是外界所說的躲避、不處理。
由於近幾日的菜價事件，讓外界對於台灣農村陣線重要成員紛紛入朝當官的現象再有討論。吳音寧被鄉民封為「神隱少女」，外界也多有評論「覺青、社運青年治國就是慘不忍睹」，對此，前農陣理事長徐世榮為也曾擔任農陣秘書長的吳音寧叫屈。徐世榮認為，休市日期是由台北市市場處決定，應由市場處決定，不解外界為何紛紛將矛頭指向吳音寧，他也認為分明是北市府在搞政治鬥爭。
對於此次菜價崩跌的紛紛擾擾，到底誰該負起最大的責任？柯文哲今早表示錯誤不是一個人造成，大家一起面對問題。而農委會副主委陳吉仲7日表示下週將公開會議記錄，再就制度面、法規面來說明，再協調未來該如何應對。
