The weather is so beautiful, the spring is so pretty, the sunshine is so warm, that everything doesn't seem real, but more like a dream, a big dream which swallows everything.

The truth is that we usually overestimate our abilities.

The truth is that we usually take credit for things that don't come from us.

“When was the last time you heard others' testimonies that moved you?” A question we discussed last night during small group. I was tired for the day. The (Bible) study group, however, as much as I was aware of, would refresh my spirit. That's what I enjoy the small group that God has prepared for me during these days.

Deadlines of journal and conference papers approach, and my mind is full of stress and paper stuff. Yet, when I raise my eyes upon my window, the blue sky, the green leaves in the trees, the white and candy-like clouds, the quietness around the neighborhood—all seem so peaceful and satisfying. Too pretty to be true.

The truth is that we most of the time look for dramas.

The truth is that we always seek meanings of our lives.

The truth is that we are always picky about surroundings, no matter how blessed we are (for most of us).

The truth is that we don't loathe life, but despise our inmost desires.

The truth is that we all want freedom, yet, the longing for freedom per se enslaves our souls.

The truth is that we cannot change everything that we don't like.

The truth is that we all need the wisdom to tell the difference between things we can and cannot change.

The truth is that we need courage to take actions upon things we can change.

The truth is that none but God can realize that change.

The truth is that we all need God's grace and mercy, love and hope, faith and humility.

So? Be humble, be grateful, be bold, be forgiving, be understanding, be supportive, be challenging.

Why? For the reality is that we all need God.
