在這個月是農曆七月，在臺灣民間是屬於陰間好兄弟們“放假”，可以回到人間遊玩的長假一個月，因此臺灣人民都準備三牲、鮮花素果、各類食品供奉，以求健康平安、生意興隆、財源廣進…。

在這個月裡，人們大都儘量避免夜間外出，而寺廟的大門都會關閉，工作人員與香客，都由邊門進出，這樣是對另外一個世界的“靈命”的尊重，因此都能相安無事。
This month, most people
try to avoid going out at night, and the temple gates
are closed, the staff and the pilgrims, by the side door out, this is a world
of respect for
another "spiritual" and
therefore can live in peace.
因此我也要遵守這個原則，以避免不必要的糾紛，順天命以行事，所以能平平安安的渡過種種的不如意。

由此就可以知道中國豬沒有知識，所謂：「平埔」就是平地的意思，住在山區裡面的就是他們口中的：「高山族」，牠們沒有知識由此即可知道。
