I've gotten your email, and we're believing with you that God will quickly bring you to Vienna, the need is great and you will find fruitful ministry. My family and I as leaving for America in the morning for 3 months, we will be back in the end of Aug. I will answer you questions and have my secetary check into the other items to make your coming easier.
1) What is your opinion and procedure for the application permit to Austria?
I have no experience with anyone outside of Amercians, I will have my secetary check into this.
2) What are the supporting documents required to prove our financial status?
We have a letter that is required for us as Americans that shows how much our "sending church or missions agency" will be giving us monthly. My secetary can send you this letter in German and you just change you detials, such as names, amount of money, etc.
3) Presently, Taiwan’s organization and church can only help but cannot send us as missionaries.What is the requirement of the “sending church” ?
If you are coming as a missionary, I believe you will need a letter from a home church or mission that they are sending you and that your support will be guanateed for a certain amount of time, 3 years, 4 years, etc.
4) As we are from Singapore what is your advice- we should be missionary from Singapore or Taiwan? Which is better?
I'm not sure which is easier to get visas into Austria or if it matters, I guess it depends on your sending church or mission.
5) How is the arrangement of education for our children? We hope to have local school.
There are three options:
1) English Christian School -- Cost about 2500-3000 euros per child a year
2) Austrian German School
3) Austrian Bi-lingual School --German & English .. these are harder to get an opening in, but is possible.
6) We need your advice for transporting for our house removing in Europe.
Usually you can check with a shipping company about either a container if you have alot, so air cargo if it's not big furniture.
7) We need your letter of invitation. What information do you need from us?
Names, birthdates, if there is anything else my secetary will email and ask.
