25歲走向衰老！泰國人妖退休後只能去「這裡」
有「東方夏威夷」之美稱的泰國芭達雅（Phattaya）是許多人旅遊的去處，除了湛藍通徹的海景，芭達雅又以夜生活聞名於世，其中，人妖秀更是不少遊客到泰國時必定參訪的表演之一。
芭達雅位於泰國灣東側，首都曼谷的東南方約165公里處，原本只是一個小漁村，後因自然條件優越，泰國政府撥出專款開發建設，成為泰國旅遊業最重要的據點之一。
芭達雅一側是綿延到南邊的美麗海灣與沙灘，另一側則是有著各式旅館、餐廳、商店、按摩店與酒吧，這側也因為靠紅燈區，所以越晚越熱鬧，人妖秀的表演場地也多集中於此。

（優活健康網記者林奐妤／綜合報導）地球上動植物體內都有一個調控一切生理功能的時鐘，依外在日夜循環產生周期性的變化，統稱為「晝夜節律」，也是俗稱的「生理時鐘」。過去研究顯示，所有生物的生理功能和行為都具有周期性，即便是單一個體的細胞，也有屬於自己獨特約24小時生理時鐘，以最有效率的方式，應付一整天外在環境的劇烈變化。
「脈絡叢」主宰體內生理時鐘 推翻過去認知雙和醫院大腦與意識研究中心醫學研究員明智煥博士，利用老鼠實驗發現，主宰體內生理時鐘部位是脈絡叢，而非過去所認知的視交叉上核。此發現不僅挑戰學界過去的認知，更獲國際頂尖期刊《自然通訊》的肯定，未來亦可將此研究應用於中風、氣喘、睡眠失調等相關病症的治療上。
明博士指出，最新相關研究顯示，脈絡叢對於胚胎及成人神經的發展具關鍵地位，也是腦中代謝物清除的潛在關鍵，甚至可為阿茲海默病提供新的治療策略。脈絡叢也是大腦細胞生長因子的主要來源。從這些新發現可得知脈絡叢是神經元活動的間接調節器，並值得重新評估。
體內生理時鐘混亂 中風、氣喘、睡眠失調可能上門明智煥博士表示，哺乳類動物大腦很奇妙，尚有很多位置、功能未被完整發現。動物實驗印證生物體內的生理時鐘起始於脈絡叢，而且脈絡叢變化非常的固定，甚至比視交叉上核產生的節律更加穩定；更驚人的是，脈絡叢實際上具有主動回傳並進一步調節視交叉上核時鐘快慢的能力，佔據體內生理時鐘的主導地位。
近年來，「生理時鐘」備受醫學界關注，去年的諾貝爾醫學獎即頒發給此領域的學者，因人的睡眠周期與晝夜節律兩者是相互獨立又依存的緊密關係，倘若生物體內生理時鐘紊亂，連帶產生許多生理狀況與臨床疾病，如中風、氣喘、睡眠失調等。
