這應該是最後一篇介紹密西根州的文章.
在三天的環Lake Michigan 之旅, 因為我和藥師先生一路上有一搭沒一搭的聊著, radio 就變成化解尷尬的重要角色. 其實這些 美國電 臺聽久了發現 放的音樂 都 大同小異. Jennifer Lopez, Ashanti, Celine Dion, Kylie Minogue 的歌好像每小時都要重複一次 . 每次聽到Celine 以她那鐵肺用力唱歌時 都陷入要不要轉台的兩難. 因為會放她的歌代表這 個radio station是專放我喜歡的Top 20 芭樂歌. 但又擔心讓迪翁小姐唱下去, 藥師先生開車會不專心而誤傷另一隻無辜的小鹿班比. (其實藥師先生最喜歡聽搖滾電台, 我常趁他不注意偷轉台 )
照片上看到的是 Mackinac Bridge 估計應該至少一公里長 . 當車子在橋上時收音機傳來 Paul Young的”What becomes of the broken hearted”. 我真是欣喜若狂 這是我高中時一部電影油炸綠蕃茄 (Fried Green Tomatoes) 的主題曲 . 電影演什麼早已沒印像, 但一直很喜歡這首歌. 有些歌你很喜歡, 但不知為什麼你就是沒有買CD, 然後每次在收音機或其他地方聽到時, 你會特別專心的聽…..
