故事是敘述在希臘一小島有個叫Sophie的女孩, 在她的婚禮舉行前, 把她媽媽(其母在性開放的70年代是個”不嚴謹”的女人)以前的三個男友請來這個小島參加她的婚禮° 因為她相信其中一的是她的生父……
Mama Mia是以瑞典知名團體ABBA的22首歌穿差整齣音樂劇°整齣戲非常的活潑熱鬧, 好像Las Vegas的歌舞劇 °對白非常幽默諷刺, 不時還有成人笑話° 最重要的元素當然就是ABBA的音樂被巧妙的融合在音樂劇裡° Finale時全場觀眾隨著台上眼員齊唱ABBA的歌, 熱鬧非凡°
多倫多雖然沒有像紐約一樣有Broadway; 每天有至少10齣以上音樂劇可以選擇, 但目前上演的兩齣musicals—The Lion King 及Mama Mia都是我非常有興趣的show°
台北也有適合音樂劇的場地, 可惜沒有夠多的觀眾可以支撐一齣秀連演一個月以上°
和同學從Royal Alexandra Theater觀賞完Mama Mia之後我們一群國際學生(有義大利人, 埃及人, 土耳其人及 委內瑞拉人)到魁北克來的同學家喝酒 , 講笑話° 大家完全忘記第二天一早還要上課........
