我家那個小鎮的房屋並不高，天空雲彩的變化很容易觀察得到，我常常看著天空發呆，也許是發白日夢吧。以前常抱怨紐西蘭天氣很差，常常是黑陰天毛毛雨，天氣晴朗時風很大很冷，沒有風時卻是下雨天……來到英國後才發現更慘！現在六月已過，都已經七月了，竟然氣溫還是在攝氏二十度以下，而且晴朗的天氣非常稀少，三不五時給你吹大風下大雨或是整天的黑陰天，更容易讓人得憂鬱症。
紐西蘭夏天天氣晴朗時，天空是那樣清澈的藍，我也體會到成語裡那句「萬里無雲」的意思，在高樓大廈遍佈的台北實在是很難體會的到萬里無雲的感覺。不過我對那漂亮的藍色天空有點恐懼，因為紐西蘭與澳洲上方的臭氧層破了一個大洞，紫外線特別的頑強，看到藍色的天空彷彿是身處在滿是紫外線的地方，怕得皮膚癌更怕曬傷曬黑曬出雀斑縐紋！現在在陽光缺乏的英國卻是很矛盾，又想要有陽光，又怕曬到，不管擦多厚多少次的防曬乳都是有缺失的……

Robert E Wells' lens finds a rare moment of reflection on the surface of Lake Wanaka.

Wayne Tait's patience was rewarded with a picture-perfect end to what had been just another dull winter's day as the sun sets over Mount Maunganui.
