這一系列的拼圖式郵票全都是45 cent郵資的，提供給國內普通郵件使用，我實在是太喜歡這一系列的，通常都買一套，貼三張寄到台灣或日本去給朋友欣賞，雖然有點小小的偷雞摸狗啦，因為寄到台灣或日本的亞洲地區需要$1.50，而我卻只有貼$1.35！

這十種農場動物裡我最喜歡的是豬。很可愛耶！肥嘟嘟的，尤其是在奔跑的大小豬，實在是太古椎了！

Farm Animals

This stamp booklet issue depicts the varied range of farm animals found in New Zealand.

The export of sheep and dairy products has brought New Zealand billions of dollars and continues to do so. Two or three generations ago the majority of New Zealand farms would have been stocked with most of the animals featured in this booklet - horses, pigs, fowls, ducks and turkeys. Advances in technology and transport and a higher standard of living have today led to more specialised farming practices without the varied range of animals of previous decades.

Deer and goat farms are a relatively new phenomenon. Deer are farmed for their meat - a big export earner while goats have also become an important economic sideline for many farmers in the move to diversify.

Due to a postage rate decrease on 2 October 1995 the stamp booklet was reissued with 40c denominations.

This exhibition product was produced to commemorate the Singapore'95 World Stamp Exhibition held in Singapore 1-10 September 1995. The sheet depicts the varied range of farm animals found in New Zealand.
