林書豪轉戰暴龍披17號戰袍 最快明天主場迎戰巫師亮相
美國職籃（NBA）台裔後衛林書豪與亞特蘭大老鷹買斷合約後，確定加盟多倫多暴龍，根據報導，林書豪最快將在明早8時30分主場迎戰巫師的比賽，披上17號戰袍亮相。
林書豪在老鷹身穿7號，不過暴龍7號屬於王牌主控勞瑞（Kyle Lowry），因此林書豪考慮穿回在尼克與湖人時期曾穿過的17號戰袍。
主跑暴龍的TSN Sports記者雷文博格（Josh Lewenberg）在推特上透露，林書豪還沒加入球隊，就已經展現高IQ的行事作風，林書豪透過簡訊詢問暴龍隊前17號球衣的擁有者、如今已被交易至灰熊的立陶宛中鋒瓦倫休納斯（Jonas Valanciunas），並取得對方同意，才確定身披17號戰袍。
林書豪為什麼鍾情7號與17號，主因於他是名虔誠的基督徒，在基督教中，「7」代表了上帝，至於選擇17號，前面的1指的是他自己，1在7的旁邊，則是意味自己在上帝的旁邊。
林書豪和老鷹協議買斷合約後，預計在美國時間明天下午5時結束讓渡期（clear waivers），而球團希望他直接在晚上8時30分主場比賽中登場亮相。暴龍這麼急著讓林書豪出賽，除了器重他的表現以外，另一項主因是陣中第一替補後衛范佛利特（Fred VanVleet），因左拇指韌帶受傷，預計將缺席3週，暴龍在後場人手短缺的情況下，林書豪的加盟無疑是球隊的利多，一般預料他加盟暴龍後，上場時間可望增加。

世界盃首戰絕殺埃及的烏拉圭，今(21)日和實力有一段差距的沙烏地阿拉伯進行交手，靠著剛寫下國家隊第100場出賽的明星前鋒Luis Suarez(蘇亞雷茲)的關鍵進球，終場以1:0擊敗對手，也確定晉級到16強。
上一戰被攻進5球的沙烏地阿拉伯，這一場力求振作，也確實沒有讓烏拉圭得到太多機會；不過在第23分鐘，烏拉圭獲得繳球機會，沙國門將Mohammed Al-Owais判斷失誤，讓Suarez輕鬆踢進，上半場結束烏拉圭以1:0領先。
下半場開踢後，沙國前鋒Fahad Al-Muwallad獲得一次大好的射門機會，不過可惜他越位在先。第85分鐘烏拉圭Edinson Cavani在反擊中取得大好機會，可惜射門被Al-Owais給撲出。
沙烏地阿拉伯直到最後都沒有太多積極進攻，最終也就是以1球之差敗給烏拉圭，小組賽吞下2連敗，已經確定不可能晉級下一輪，而同樣遭到淘汰的還有同組的埃及。至於烏拉圭及俄羅斯則是攜手打進16強，接下來兩隊要來爭奪分組第一的位置。
Suarez本場比賽將自己的生涯世界盃進球增加到6球，追平國家隊傳奇Diego Forlan，僅次於Oscar Miguez的8球，而他也是國家隊史上唯一在3次世界盃都取得進球的球員。
