BMW 335i
發問:
Anyone test driven a BMW 335i? It's a amazing car..... On the other hand. BMW 330i convertible is relatively slow
最佳解答:
I was disappointed when I drove the 335i. It looked spectacular on paper -- 3.0L twin-turbo with 306 hp and over 300 lb/ft of torque across the torque curve. I had quite a bit of hope before I stepped on the accelerator. But turned out it's not big of a deal. It's fast but it's not really that fast. Well, I guess that may have something to do with my daily driver having 450 hp. But still... BMW is holding the boost back just to make a bigger difference for the M3. And if you looked back to Toyota's 2JZ-GTE engine from the early 90s, which is also an inline-6 twin turbo engine but delivering 320 hp and 320 lb/ft of torque (U.S. spec) more than 15 years ago, plus the great modification potential. BMW is not doing such a great job at all. However, BMW is not about straight line performance, but the overall balance of the car, emphasizing on handling. I won't call 330ic a slow car. Show me another convertible at the same price range that has a better package and performance than the 330ic. 2007-11-07 23:29:19 補充: Also, the first batch of 335i without sports package have engine oil over-heating issue. BMW has to retrofit the oil cooler as a recall in the US to have the problem fixed.
