女童遭狗狠咬致死！獸醫曝救命妙招

美國北卡州一名1歲大的女童特里妮蒂（Triniti Harrell）遭家中的比特鬥牛犬襲擊，媽媽哈勒爾（Miranda Harrell）當時不管用方法都無法讓比特犬鬆口，最後只能眼睜睜看著女兒被咬死。對此，資深獸醫布瑞特（Brett Levitzke）事後提出一項自救方法，只要把狗的「後腿抬高」，就能讓狗口立刻鬆口。

綜合外報導，事發當下於上月22日，女童特里妮蒂遭家中比特犬咬住不放，甚至咬著女童左右甩動，當下母親哈勒爾見狀嚇壞，趕緊撥打911求救，當時接線員告訴她，試著用平底鍋等硬物重擊狗狗頭部，甚至拿刀刺比特犬讓牠鬆口，不料狗就是不鬆口，直到員警到場用槍將狗射殺才救出女童，不過以為時已晚，女童送醫搶救幾天後仍不幸死亡。
對此，獸醫列維茨基（Brett Levitzke）表示，一個簡單的方式可以阻止狗的攻擊，就是「抬起狗的後腿讓牠失去平衡就會鬆口。」但他也表示，理論上是如此，但尚未有人試驗過也無法確認是否有效。 此外，也有專家提出制止狗襲擊的方法，如已拳頭打狗的口鼻、以其他物品吸引狗的注意、以全身體重壓斷狗的肋骨等。（編輯：陳昱哲）

醫院火警釀9死 賴：加強防災能力
【台灣醒報記者譚有勝台北報導】台北醫院13日清晨4時病房傳出火警，截止目前為止造成9人死亡，10人重傷、6人輕傷，傷亡人數仍在統計中，但火警原因仍待釐清。行政院長賴清德13日出席活動時表示，他已經要求衛福部成立應變小組，必須妥善安置受影響的病人，未來要加強各大醫院的自主防災能力，以確保不會再發生醫院火警的問題。
新北市新莊區的衛福部臺北醫院，13日凌晨4時在該醫院7樓病房傳出火警，經200多名消防人員搶救後，在1小時內撲滅火勢，已救出災禍病房的30多位病患，並疏散上百名醫護人員及病患，目前9人死亡、10人重傷、6人輕傷，火警原因仍待釐清。
新北市消防局指出，由於安寧病房的病患，原本就需要儀器協助維持生命跡象，發生火警後斷電，導致傷亡慘重，目前分別轉送亞東、市三、新泰、迴龍、北馬、輔大醫院搶救。
消防局在4時36分接獲報案，5時15分控制火勢，5時27分火勢熄滅，7樓收容人數共33名病患，其中14名送醫前已經沒有生命跡象（7男7女）、4名重傷（3男1女）、5名輕傷（1男4女）及1名氣切男子，分別送往部立台北醫院、市立三重醫院、亞東醫院及新泰醫院。
消防局表示，燃燒面積約10坪，他們已出動70多部救護車及各式消防車輛到場，目前火勢已經完全熄滅，起火原因需要調查後才可得知；消防局最近對於醫院的設備、防火管理、危物檢查是在上個月3日，檢查均合格。
賴清德13日出席107年地方公職人員選舉檢警調廉政高層首長選舉查察座談會受訪時表示，新莊台北醫院護理之家發生大火，造成多人傷亡，他代表行政院向病人、家屬以及社會大眾道歉。他已經要求衛福部成立應變小組，因衛福部長陳時中近日出國代表台灣出席APEC相關會議，所以應變小組召集人由次長薛瑞元擔任。他要求，衛福部必須妥善安置受影響的病人，不論是留在醫院本身或是轉往其他醫院治療，所有病人的醫療都不可以中斷。
此外，賴清德也要全院總動員，尋求衛福部或行政院相關部會的協助，儘速恢復醫院的功能，尤其是開刀房、急診及加護病房等救命的單位，一定要迅速恢復。他也特別督促相關部會檢討整個失事原因，避免類似情況再度產生，希望此次教訓能夠作為全國各大醫院的借鏡，加強醫院本身的自主防災能力，萬一有類似情況再次發生，才有辦法將災害影響降至最低。
