During the first five months your child feels safest when carried in an inward facing mode. You can choose between two leg positions which are both particularly hip friendly. Your little one's hips are provided with the correct position when your child sits in the carrier with his or her legs wide apart angulated outwards. 興大獸醫教學醫院 首創自體前十字韌帶置換手術
前十字韌帶斷裂是小動物常見的外科病例，中興大學獸醫教學醫院近期採用創新的自體移植韌帶方式，成功完成8件犬隻手術，以動物體自身的韌帶來取代斷裂的韌帶，適應性好且復原期縮短。記者常維鈞報導有一隻8歲的奶油法鬥，11.5公斤，左後肢不負重，診斷為前十字韌帶斷裂。經興大獸醫教學醫院手術治療後，兩個星期後即能負重，正常走路。興大獸醫教學醫院教授李衛民表示，前十字韌帶斷裂臨床症狀從肢體跛行到不負重都有可能發生，最常見的症狀是整隻腳懸空，不敢著地，但有時候症狀輕微，所以主人往往會忽略。由於膝關節受力不平衡，最終導致膝關節的半月板軟骨受損甚而破裂。依據體重的考量，前十字韌帶斷裂的修復方法有很多種，包括脛骨平台位移(TPLO)、脛骨粗隆前移術(TTA)、改良式的TTA 進階手術(MMP)、膝關節囊外固定、膝關節囊內固定等。在這些手術中，只有膝關節囊內固定，傾向於模擬膝關節內前十字韌帶的走向，但仍是以外來物取代原來的韌帶，而TPLO、TTA與MMP皆是先對脛骨近端或是脛骨粗隆進行切割，以利調整膝關節股骨與脛骨關節面對合的位置，減少對膝關節軟骨的衝擊，再以骨板固定。前十字韌帶的檢查，主要是靠抽屜實驗與脛骨壓迫實驗，於抽屜試驗檢查時，若發現股骨與脛骨有錯動，就可以判定是前十字韌帶斷裂(幅度大)或是鬆弛(幅度小)；於脛骨壓迫實驗檢查時，當脛骨做出往上壓動作時，發現脛骨會往前滑動，就可以判定是前十字韌帶斷裂。前十字韌帶斷裂，藥物的治療只能緩解疼痛，無法根本解決此疾病，因此最好的方式還是進行手術。經過近年來的觀察與臨床經驗，目前認為韌帶置換手術，對10公斤左右或以下犬隻是最好的選擇。由李衛民所率領的外科團隊，應用改良式的膝關節囊內固定，以動物體自身的韌帶來取代斷裂的韌帶，好處是自身的韌帶，不會產生排斥，同時韌帶伴有血管，不會變成死物。目前已完成的病例體重大都在10 公斤左右，最重到達16公斤，而且動物恢復的狀況良好，另觀察到體重越重，限制活動與恢復的時間會有所延長。若主人對家中的毛小孩，是否有前十字斷裂的疑慮，也歡迎預約進行門診諮詢。希臘轉售德潛艦？
