夢結束的地方，鴿子啪啪啪舞動著白色的翅膀，然後飛遠。他們阻擋不了戰火，然而他們還是高唱。你恍惚醒在喧嚷的1969年，看見他們在50萬人聚集的廣場上架起一座簡陋的舞台，在電吉他延綿不絕的回音之中，他們高唱：愛，與和平。他們朗誦詩句。他們在髮間別著一朵粉色的鮮花。

然而你還是錯過了，那不是你的年代。憤慨的吉他手和激昂流淚的詩人們，終究在時間浪潮中頹然褪逝。戰火依舊在他們的身後堅決而木然地蔓延。坦克履帶碾過了一張空白的線譜，粗魯地以空襲警報譜寫成了一則一則刺耳的歷史。

而那些鮮明的聲音和模糊的身影，卻仍擱淺在你記憶之灘上：你依稀看見Jimi Hendrix用他的電吉他在台上演奏了走調的國歌。你看見Bob Dylan還飄揚在風中的答案。你看見John Lennon，他推了推眼鏡說他不是唯一的。你看見了Joan Baez。你看見了Pink Floyd。你看見了老吟遊者Pete Seeger。你彷彿還看見那個圓形的和平標誌就在你的窗外晃動，群眾望著鏡頭張開空洞的嘴巴，口號堆疊成了一波波洶湧的浪潮……
