中英合造郵輪 鐵達尼3倍大 大陸國家主席習近平訪問英國，促成大陸首次國造船長達鐵達尼號三倍的超級豪華郵輪，每艘造價約人民幣五十億元（約新台幣二百五十億元），預計首艘郵輪將在明年下半年啟建，二○二○年交船。
財新網報導，在習近平和英國首相卡麥隆的見證下，中船集團、中投公司與世界最大郵輪公司嘉年華集團廿一日簽署價值廿六億英鎊（約新台幣一千二百七十五億元）的合資合作協定。三方將在香港成立一家由中方控股的國際郵輪合資公司。
報導引述參與協定的人士透露，合資公司成立後，將斥資人民幣二百五十億元在中船集團下屬的外高橋造船廠訂造超級豪華郵輪。這也是大陸首次國造超級豪華郵輪。
據透露，這些豪華郵輪的滿載排水量將超過十三萬噸，船長超過三百公尺，尺寸接近鐵達尼號的三倍，載客數約為五千人，每艘造價約人民幣五十億元。
外高橋造船廠內部人士透露，船廠已經在為國產超級豪華郵輪進行設備及基礎設施準備，預計首艘郵輪將在明年下半年啟動建造。
嘉年華集團首席運營官阿蘭．巴克魯表示，郵輪旅遊對中國來說是一種相對較新的旅遊體驗，此次合作對發展中國本土郵輪經濟、推動中國成為世界領先的郵輪市場具有重要意義。
根據上海國際郵輪經濟研究中心發表的「中國郵輪產業發展報告二○一五」，二○一四年大陸出入境郵輪遊客七十四萬人，年增百分之四十，預計二○一五年將突破一百萬人，占亞洲郵輪市場總量的百分之四十以上，躍升為全球第八位。
中船集團總經理吳強表示，大力發展國產郵輪不僅可為大陸郵輪產業持續健康發展提供堅實的裝備保障，同時也是大陸突破郵輪設計、建造技術，快速提升船舶工業技術和管理水準，推動大陸造船業由大變強，加快推進實現工業強國和製造業強國的有效途徑。
