Dear Lovage,

When I read your last letter, I could not bring myself to say anything about the situation.

Partly because there was nothing to say. Mainly because I was just too tired.

While Pat was here, Ting and I took him to a cafe/patisserie opposite my flat for an afternoon coffee break. It was after that I realised I should not have mentioned my x at all in the first place.

I had just wanted to talk about things, and not think too deeply about the implications. But Pat was inquisitive with an unbearbly sharp tongue, so in the end I held my white flag and surrender to crying in public, against my own will.

I don't think there is much to talk about now. We need action instead of contemplation.

Please take care of yourself, and don't worry too much about me.
