Dear Lovage,

I'm glad to hear that you have had a good time in London. The email server was down for a whole week, so I'd only got the messages you sent to me earlier yesterday. And my inbox was busted...

I thought I would feel really sad and envious to hear about England, but strangely I don't. My cravigns to go back there as soon as I can are no longer at the forefront of my mind. Perhaps I have got the peace of mind, for the time being.

I liked the way you described your experience there, though. Very much so. I think you sounded mildly excited, seemingly making efforts to stay calm. Am I right?

Not important. Just as long as you are fine.

To answer your question, I have never been to the rose garden. Though I would love to have been there with you, smelling the freshly cut grass on a fine day.
