昨天有在聽Hit FM的人大概都會聽到昨天的Hit of the Century—REM的Losing My Religion啦(雖然這張片沒有要做，但我還是偷偷排了，西西西。)愛爾莎念的OS+播歌，我一天聽了四遍Losing My Religion，真開心。

嚴格說起來，我不能算是REM的死忠歌迷。畢竟我以前從來沒有真正自己掏錢買過他們的任何一張專輯(shameful…….-_-)。不過’91年的時候，他們的Losing My Religion如日中天，那時候我也開始聽西洋音樂，就這麼正巧的搭上線。前幾天重看了MV才覺得好似曾相識……說不定是那時半夜在什麼余光伯伯還是Sally Yip的節目裡看到的，哈哈。

Losing my religion is probably the best REM track written. Michael Stipes will be remembered as one of the most gifted songwriters of our generation that has as one of the contributors here mentioned a Shaky voice. Shaky voice... come on could you possible imagine anybody else singing this track... I thought not.!

This song is just so beautiful, and Michael Stipe is the second greatest songwriting talent this age has known (After Leonard Cohen, by the way) and part of the beauty of his voice is the way it sounds- its tone, its timbre, and the fact it's "shaky" is adorable!
Hmmmmm……shaky voice……it’s REALLY shaky in this song，哈哈哈。
Michael Stipe在這首歌裡面真的是shaky voice+mumble一起來，斷句也斷在平常講話不會斷的位置，有些不重要的詞(介係詞/副詞….)根本沒唱(或者是在mumble聽不懂)，不看歌詞還真不知道他在唱些什麼。剛剛看了很多歌詞的版本，在that was just a dream那段有一句還真不知在mumble啥，有些是try, try, try, try，有些是try, cry, not try，不過官方歌詞裡什麼也沒寫，我還是不要妄下定論好了。
還有這首歌的MV，拍的非常的表現主義，裡面有什麼戴著金翅膀的天使/聚餐/各種不同造型奇奇怪怪的人物，我看不太懂，想是充滿了隱喻吧。不過Michael Stipe在裡面的白羽毛翅膀造型，我想已經變成了一個icon了。
By the way，Michael Stipe不協調的手舞足蹈還真有點像被什麼東西上身一樣的群魔亂舞，哈哈哈。
